決してはりきっているつもりはないのですが、
「せっかくだから・・・」とついついがんばってしまう母さんです（笑）
息子の誕生日がらみで、せっせとケーキを焼いた５月。
せっかくなので記録しておきましょう。
まずは、息子の幼なじみが集まって、みんな一緒のおたんじょうび会。
マドレーヌをたくさん焼いて、子どもがよろこぶだろうと派手に飾ってみました。
この子たちとは、お母さんのお腹に居るころからの付き合いです。
「あんなに小さかったのに・・・」
いつの間にか、みんな元気に５さいです。
お誕生日当日のケーキ。
いちごと白いクリームとチョコのプレートが息子のリクエスト、
今年はシフォンケーキにしました。
主役は野獣のようにむさぼり食べました。
保育園のお誕生日会。
息子の通う小さな保育園は、
毎月その月にうまれた子たちが合同でおたんじょうび会をします。
その日は主役の親がケーキを用意し、みんなに振る舞います。
みんなが食べれるように、基本的に卵、乳製品はNG。
毎年悩みに悩んで作るものの、どうも納得いくものが出来ず・・・
今年は「そうだ、パンにしよう！」と、せっせとパン生地を捏ねました。
紫いも、ほうれん草、かぼちゃ、プレーンの４色のパン生地を、
ケーキの型に詰めて焼き、積み重ねてみました。
そしていただいた恐竜パンで飾ったら、息子も大満足！！
これに至るまでは、試作したり、プロにアドバイスをいただいたり、
大変だったワケですが、
そんな努力の甲斐もつゆ知らず、
あっという間に子どもたちのお腹に入っていったのでした。

反応が意外だったり、子どもは正直で面白いです。
いくらこちらが手間暇かけて作っても、あっという間に平らげてしまう彼らの様子を見ると、肩の力が抜けますね。
